Use this control panel to add and delete email accounts and change email account passwords. (Email accounts are also known as, POP3 email boxes.) Each web hosting account comes with twenty email accounts which you can setup at any time using this control panel. If you need additional email boxes please contact support@Southernwebdesign.com.

After you have setup your email accounts you may wish to create email aliases so that, for example, mail addressed to 'sales@yourdomain.com' will go to a specific email account. If so, please go to the Email Alias and Forwarding Control Panel.

Important: If you want to setup an email address such as, 'info@yourdomain.com' or 'sales@yourdomain.com', do not use this control panel. Use the Email Alias and Forwarding Control Panel instead.

Before proceeding you should have decided on the username and password you want to use for each email account. Usernames and passwords should be between six and eight characters long. Please try to use passwords that are reasonably difficult to guess.

This program will check that the usernames you select are not already used. In addition, certain usernames like "sales', 'service', 'tech', 'admin', 'info', etc. are reserved and cannot be used. However, you can create email aliases to accomplish the same thing. Please see our Email Alias and Forwarding Control Panel.

Please wait until we have updated the system before using these email accounts or creating aliases. Updates occur at 0600, 1200, 1800 and 2400 eastern time.

You may cancel this procedure at any time before the final submission without any changes being made by just clicking on some other link.

All login, password, email and other information requested during this process is handled through our secure server using 1024 bit RSA encryption.

Warning

Be sure you know what you are doing if you plan to delete an email account. All read or unread mail for that account will be erased. There is a $50 charge to restore a deleted email account from our backups. **
